Frozen Treats
The following recipes can be made in ice cube trays, though I would recommend using silicone ice cube trays as it makes it easier to remove the treats. You can also purchase a product called Chillin’ Bonz, it comes in two sizes…Large makes 4 frozen treats and Mini makes 14 treats.
Barking Wild Fruit Treat
Place fruit into blender. (strawberries, cantaloupe, watermelon, apples, peaches or bananas) Add a bit of unsweetened juice (i.e. pineapple). Add low-fat yogurt for thickening, honey for sweetening. Puree until well blended and smooth. Pour into Treat Tray. Freeze. |
Cheesy Chicken Surprise
Mix chicken broth and water, pour into treat tray. Add 1-2 small cheese cubes into each bone. Freeze. |
Beef Pupsicles
Whisk yogurt and beef broth together until smooth. Spoon yogurt mixture into Treat Tray. Freeze. |
Chicken Pupsicles1 cup low-fat plain yogurt
1/2 cup chicken broth Whisk yogurt and beef broth together until smooth. Spoon yogurt mixture into Treat Tray. Freeze. |
Cool Hawaiianwater
pineapple juice Mix water and pineapple juice evenly. Pour into Treat Tray. Freeze. |
Frozen Doggie Yums1 cup water
1 cube chicken or beef bullion 4 small pieces of chicken or beef Dissolve bullion in water. Pour into Treat Tray. Tear meat into smaller pieces and drop into each bone. Freeze. |
Frosty Paws
Mix all of the ingredients with a blender or mixer and pour into Treats Trays. Freeze. |
Fruitslide
Blend all ingredients thoroughly in a blender until creamy and smooth. Place into Treat Tray. Freeze for 5+ hours. Substitute Ingredients: Instead of Banana – Apples or Pears Instead of Honey – Molasses |
Kiwiberry Yum
Mix ingredients. Spoon into Treat Tray. Freeze. |
Peanut Butter Crunch
Mix peanut butter with mashed bananas, add a spoonful of honey and mix in some water to make a better freezing consistency. For extra crunch, throw in a few unsalted peanuts into each bone. Freeze. |
Peanut Butter & Yogurt Treats
Microwave peanut butter until melter. Mix equal parts of yogurt and peanut butter. Pour mixture into treat tray. Freeze. Optional: Bananas can be added to this recipe as well. |
Peanut Butter, Banana & Berries Frozen Pops
Stir all ingredients in medium bowl. Pour into blender, puree until smooth. Pour into Treat Tray. Freeze. |
