The following recipes are soft treat recipes. These soft treats, unlike crunchy treats and biscuits, are gentle on a dog's gums and teeth and are great for dogs that suffer from dental problems.

Beef Bones
Preheat 350°F Mix beef and beaten eggs in a food processor. In large bowl, combine flour and oats, then gradually mix in beef mixture until well blended. Add water and stir to form a sticky dough. Knead dough for about 2 minutes. Roll to about 1/4" thickness on a greased cookie sheet. Cut with pizza cutter or knife. Bake for 1 hour. Store in air tight container. |
Fishy Fudge
Preheat 350°F Put fish (with canning water) and eggs in a blender. Blend until smooth. Pour into bowl and add flour, mix well. Press into a greased 9x9 baking dish and bake for a half hour. Half way through baking, cut into squares and continue baking. Store in the fridge in an airtight container. |
Dot Treats
Preheat 350°F Combine all ingredients in bowl and mix. Cover baking sheet with greased or non-stick foil. Spoon batter in to a plastic bag and force the contents into one corner of the bag, twisting the top of the bag to seal. Snip the corner of the bag and squeeze the bag to dispense bite-size dabs of the batter onto the baking sheet. Bake for >20 minutes. Store in airtight container in fridge. |
Pumpkin Perfection
Preheat 300°F Mix all the ingredients in a large bowl. You can mix the cream of wheat dry, it does not need to be cooked first. Drop small spoonfuls onto cookie sheet. Bake for 15-20 minutes. Store in the fridge in an airtight container. |
Pumpkin/Tuna Brownies
Preheat 350°F Mix everything together. Add flour until consistency of brownies. Spread evenly on cookie sheet. Bake for 20-25 minutes. Cut into bite sized pieces. Store in air tight container. |
Soft Dog Cookies
Preheat 350°F Mix all of the ingredients into a large mixing bowl. Roll the dough into small balls, about 1 inch in diameter, and place them on the greased cookie sheet. Flatten them slightly. Bake for 10 to 15 minutes. Store in air tight container. |
Pumpkin Drops
Preheat 350°F Mix the pumpkin, egg, carrots and flour together in a large bowl until thoroughly combined. Roll batter into small balls and place them on a well-greased cookie sheet. Bake for 30-35 minutes. Store in the fridge in an airtight container. |
